Ecoideas chocolate cake is an easy to prepare dessert option for people on gluten-free and vegan diets, or those looking to consume foods without empty calories. Ecoideas chocolate cake is high in phosphorus and is a source of fibre, calcium, iron, magnesium and folate (vitamin B9) - with less calories than conventional chocolate cake. This cake is one that you can feel good about making for your friends and family. Go ahead and have a second slice!
Directions: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a round cake pan by lately oiling and dusting it with flour. In a bowl add the whole package of cake mix and 426 mL of cold water (just shy of 2 cups) whisk until smooth. (Optional: Add 1 mashed banana for extra moisture and sweetness.) Pour batter into prepared cake pan and bake approximately 35 minutes. Cool before serving. You can also use this mix to make chocolate cupcakes!
